KlassikAkzente "Selected Classics 2009"

From KlassikAkzente's "Catalogue of Selected Classics 2009"

Rafał Blechacz: Piano
Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra
Conductor: Jerzy Semkow

After Rafał Blechacz with his last album undertook a trip into the Viennese classicals, the young Polish miracle pianist comes back to his countryman and favorite composer Chopin.
Chopin's piano concertos No.1 and No.2 with impressive opening by the winner of 2005 Chopin competition reveals the ranks of the Premium release for the 200th birthday of the composer in the spring 2010.

Accompanying the 24-year old pianist are over 80-year old Polish conductor Jerzy Semkow at the rostrum of the Concertgebouw Orchestra.
The two succeed in a symbiotic music event as one only quite rarely experiences it.

Blechacz and Semkow put their proficiency in the service of the music, nowhere a track of masterly vanity, completely.
Every nuance is a tribute to Chopin’s genius.
