When a listener is allowed to be with true music

Slide show of Chopin's birthplace in Żelazowa Wola, with Rafał Blechacz's playing Prelude in A flat major as BGM.

These pictures were taken by a French tourist who came to Warsaw on Feb.22 for Chopin's Birthday Concert (Rafał played the 2nd Concerto) and then to Żelazowa Wola.

↓ An impression of TV Arte's program on Rafał Blechacz's recital in Hamburg, aired in March this year, written by Beata, a fan in Poland.

"It gave me a great impression. After watching this program I couldn't get back for long time but really I didn't want to.

Excellently realized this music, my favorite Chopin's works...It was an incredible experience, almost like a concert in a hall, something less because not live but something more; you can not only hear, but see Rafał's face, his hands. He is wholly into the music, experiences feelings which music gives, so much so he goes through them!

And the music is very true thanks to that. I am very grateful that he agreed to recording this concert, let us close to him; a creative activity should be intimate, personal but he allowed us to participate in".

I thank Beata for describing the joy brought to your heart by your favorite musician. You and I and many others are very fortunate to know and listen to this genuine artist.
And thanks to Dana for translation.

April 3, @Japanese garden in the precinct of Sakura-Tower, Minato Tokyo

It has been unusually cold in winter and there was a snow storm even in March but Sakura (cherry) flowers came in full bloom diligently.
