From Mardid to Rome and Bologna--Rafał Blechacz

"Rafał finished his recital tonight in Madrid a la Sala Sinfónica of Auditorio Nacional de Música to a big applause. The public couldn't stop clapping until he gave two encores. The concert hall is very good and of a modern design.  A big success in Madrid again".

Piccolo grande Blechacz
(Excerpt)
".....Five years have passed and Rafał Blechacz is now fully included in the empyrean of the most extraordinary performers of the entire piano repertoire, with a natural predilection for his illustrious compatriot, Frederic Chopin. The sparkle of his fluid fingering, the freshness with which he redraws on the keyboard more lyrical moments without any shadow of rhetorical emphasis, the prodigious technique that allows him to address rigorously the authors of the classical period and to return them with a surprising maturity for his very young age, making him one of the artists to be followed with increasing attention.

Back to Sala Santa Cecilia after the exciting debut last year with the Second Concerto by Chopin.....".
