Rafał Blechacz will give a recital combined with a discussion of musical interpretation, Toruń, April 16

Rafal Blechacz will perform a recital on April 16 at the auditorium of Nicolaus Copernicus University, as a part of the program of the Festival of Arts and Sciences in Toruń.  This event is a continuation from last year’s discussion at Collegium Maximum of the university.  This year, the discussion about the art of musical interpretation will be an integral part of the musical performance by Blechacz.  The interpretation will be discussed by the artist, Fr. Prof. Andrzej Szostek from the Catholic University of Lublin, Prof. Jacek Jadacki - pianist and philosopher from the University of Warsaw, Dr. Anna Brożek from UW - very talented 30-year-old expert in the philosophy of music and Prof. Wladyslaw Stróżewski from the Jagiellonian University.
Admission will be free. Organizers have not decided yet how you can get free tickets.
Blechacz played in Torun in April last year.  The recital was dedicated to victims of the disaster near Smolensk.
