Happy Birthday Arthur Rubinstein, Jan. 28

Arthur Rubinstein (January 28, 1887 – December 20, 1982)plays Grieg, Chopin and Saint-Saëns.

London Symphony Orchestra
Conductor: André Previn
1975

When performing these pieces, Rubinstein was 88 years old.
Hope that like Rubinstein and Previn, Rafał also will live long enough to play many beautiful performances, touching and uplifting hearts of us and next generations to come.
He has more than 60 years to go (*゚ー゚*)R.
Wishing his continued health and success...

  2. Hi, how are you?
He didn't play his previously scheduled Scottish tour due to the schedule incompatibility (recording sessions of his new CD took precedence). And the recording went very well!

    1. Yes I'm excited about his new CD. I can't wait!

Unfortunately the concerts I wanted to go have been cancelled. He got flu.
I'm praying for his quick return to good health..!!
And definitely he will be in good shape in Berlin. Enjoy!

  4. Hi again,

It's good to know that the recording went smoothly and we are going to listen to so many new interpretations by Rafał :) Lucky us!

And when I opened my "snail mail box" today, I found an elegant envelope from the Berliner Philharmoniker with my ticket for Rafał's performance on June 20th (some pieces will be played in a duett with Mr Daniel Strabawa, the B.Philharmoiniker concert master). I'm looking forward to it!

L.B., I wish you a nice evening with Rafał & the Beethoven's concerto in Berlin!

    Hugs from Poland,
    Marzena Jaworska
