Blechacz played for his folks in hometowns Nakło nad Notecią and Bydgoszcz




June 18 @his parish church in Nakło nad Notecią, playing Bach, Beethoven and Chopin for the audience whom he feels closest in his heart, ten years after winning the 2005 Chopin Competition.





"It's an oasis of peace. - Nakło is always such a place, where I return, I love the tranquility, being with family, with friends, I think it is very important when preparing for the next artistic challenges for the next concert." (Rafal Blechacz)

The audience included Father Jan Andrzejczak, the priest who recognized his talent when he was a child, and his school teachers.

He served these churches as an organist for a long time.

For the past ten years he traveled one million kilometers for over 500 concerts in Europe, America and Asia.
